Wayman Attends Bassmaster Classic in Houston

The 2017 Geico Bassmaster Classic is one of the biggest events in fishing. Wayman attended the Classic Houston March 24-26 and participated in a new program named, The Shell Bassmaster Get Hooked On Fishing presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. It was held in conjunction with the Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

 

The program is designed to reach youth and their families, put rods and reels in the hands of hundreds of young anglers, and teach them about basic fishing knowledge, aquatic habitats, water stewardship and how-to skills.

 

96 High, Middle School Students Event

Wayman spent an evening with students from Ninety-Six High and Middle Schools. The youth were able to view his boat and learn lessons in fishing from the angler.
